Accommodation

Exclusive discounts and deals for ANZMAC attendees

This year’s conference will take place at Macquarie University Wallumattagal campus in North Ryde – roughly 16 km from Sydney’s CBD (the Doctoral Colloquium will be held at the Macquarie University City Campus in the middle of Sydney’s CBD).

Macquarie University is
directly connected to Sydney’s CBD (Downtown) through the new M1 Metro line. There are four CBD Metro stations, with travel to Macquarie University Station taking between 20 and 26 minutes.

While a
few accommodation options around the Macquarie University Wallumattagal campus exist, the majority of accommodation options are located in and around the CBD (the Gala Dinner will also be in walking distance to the CBD). If you plan to stay in the CBD area, we recommend booking accommodation in walking distance to the CBD Metro Stations (Central Station, Gadigal Station, Martin Place Station and Barangaroo Station).

We
encourage early bookings, as December is Sydney’s peak tourist season, so accommodation will book quickly and likely get more expensive closer to December.

Additional budget accommodation options are available around the Macquarie University Wallumattagal campus (guest houses) and the Central Station (hostels and cheaper hotels).

Please find below
accommodation options on and around the campus and in the CBD in walking distance to the four CBD Metro stations. Click on the links below to secure deals on accommodation with our travel partner, JT Travel (you can also book flights and activities).

ANZMAC attendees have access to incredible deals on activities, accommodation, flights and more with our travel partner, JT Travel.
